Every month this year, we’ve released two songs based around our various favorite holidays, staying up late so that we wouldn’t miss the first few minutes of holiday festivities. Well, today is December 10th, which is A Day For The Remembrance of the Souls of Lost Whales, and to celebrate we’ve released a song about friendship and whale spotting which you can listen to here.
We, The Rough & Tumble, love whales, and although this day is one that celebrates the things we’re opposed to (namely, hunting whales) we thought it was a noteworthy day of thanksgiving and the recognition of the symbiotic relationship between whale and human. We also thought it was a day that was the perfect stage for a love song between the two.
