Tonight our camper smells like chile rellenos stuffed with sweet potatoes, a toasted Mexican rice, cabbage salad, and once the sun sets and we set to roasting s’mores, it’s gonna smell like campfire and whiskey.
Mallory outdid herself tonight. Chile relleno stuffed with sweet potato, toasted Mexican rice with jalepeno and onion and a broken down cabbage salad. Vegan except for the yogurt.
There’s not much to say today, other than we ate the rest of those blueberry muffins for breakfast, went for a walk, bought groceries, buddha bowl for lunch, booking into the afternoon. Mallory went to the post office and on her drive heard Billy Joel, Aerosmith, Metallica and Godsmack. In that order.
We think about writing more, and we think about who the person was before us, who left all of these cigarette butts in the fire pit instead of marshmallow droppings. We think about how much more we need to do, and the importance of doing nothing.
We’ve got shows coming up in Minneapolis/St. Paul that we’re excited about. They all came together last minute, but we have great expectations for them. Thanks to Dan Stewart and Tommy Rehbein for helping us out with these.

Welp, the fire is crackling, and s’mores don’t make themselves. Until tomorrow.
